It's October already.  It is day 21 of school today!  The first five weeks of school have been fantastic!  
We are a class of sixteen wonderful students.   

We have been reading and writing about bears, autumn and being thankful this week.
In mathematics this week, we have been learning about telling time to the hour and are doing some graphing.

We have been working on the netbooks this week.  We have been using a symbaloo page that has tile links to  sites that we are, or will be using in our grade one class.   Studyladder is one of those tile links.  We have been using studyladder for math activities.  There are math tasks for the students that are relevant to what they have, or are learning in school.  Students can access this at home with their login and password - both which are located in their agendas.  This does not need to be done at home, but can be.
